LEADERSHIP…UNEXPLAINABLE yet UNDENIABLE

What if instead of asking God to do something FOR us,

leaders asked God to do something IN and THROUGH us for others?

Several months ago, a friend sent me this brain teasing quote (source unknown)  - “The man at the top of the mountain did not fall there!!!” 

Just like the man at the top doesn’t just arrive alone, there’s something unexplainable yet undeniable about a Leader who asks “How Can I HELP?”

And then follows it up by putting their full force, energy, and inertia behind the answer!!

If you’ve gotten anything at all out of following Christ, if his love has made any difference in your life, if being in a community of the Spirit means anything to you, if you have a heart, if you care —then do me a favor…Put yourself aside, and HELP OTHERS get ahead. Don’t be obsessed with getting your own advantage. Forget yourselves long enough to lend a HELPING HAND hand….

Don’t look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in OTHERS, too.
